Principality Stadium Transport Guide for EURO 2028
Cardiff Central and Queen Street rail, walking the city centre to Wales' national stadium.
Principality Stadium is unusual for a major national stadium in that it sits directly in the centre of Cardiff. Cardiff Central railway station, served by Great Western Railway from London Paddington and Transport for Wales services from across the country, is a five-minute walk across the River Taff. Cardiff Queen Street station is around 10 minutes away on foot, providing connections to Cardiff Bay. The compact city centre means most pubs, restaurants and hotels are within walking distance of the stadium. Driving into central Cardiff on matchdays is strongly discouraged; pre-booked NCP and JustPark spaces in nearby car parks must be reserved well in advance.
