St James' Park Transport Guide for EURO 2028
Tyne and Wear Metro, walking from Central Station and parking around Newcastle's city-centre stadium.
St James' Park sits in the heart of Newcastle city centre, making it one of the easiest stadiums in the UK to reach on foot. The Tyne and Wear Metro stops directly outside the West Stand at St James' station on the Green line; Monument and Haymarket Metro stations are both around five minutes away on foot. Newcastle Central rail station, with direct services from London King's Cross, Edinburgh and most major UK cities, is a ten-minute walk to the south. Matchday parking close to the ground is severely limited and largely reserved for permits; the Eldon Square and Times Square multi-storey car parks are the most reliable paid options.
