Villa Park is in the Aston district of Birmingham, around three miles north-east of the city centre. Aston railway station, served by London Northwestern Railway and West Midlands Trains from Birmingham New Street, is a five-minute walk from the South Stand; Witton station, also a five-minute walk, is closer to the away end. The number 7 and 65 buses run frequently from Birmingham city centre. Matchday parking in the surrounding residential streets is restricted to permit holders; pre-booked spaces in the Witton industrial estate or at Aston University (a 15-minute walk away) are the main car-driver options.
