What items are banned at EURO 2028 stadiums?
UEFA confirms the unified banned-item list for EURO 2028 venues. Bag size, alcohol, banners and cameras — what fans can and cannot bring.
UEFA has published the unified prohibited-items policy for all ten EURO 2028 venues across the United Kingdom and Ireland. The list, marginally stricter than EURO 2024, is enforced at the outer perimeter, the bag-check lane and the turnstile.
Bags larger than A4 (210 × 297 mm) are not permitted inside any stadium. Small handbags, slim backpacks and clear pouches are allowed and may be searched. Suitcases and roller bags must be deposited at official off-site lockers — no left-luggage service is offered at the venues themselves.
Alcohol brought from outside the perimeter is confiscated on entry. A sealed bottle of water up to 500 ml is accepted; food may be brought only for documented medical or religious reasons. E-cigarettes and vapes are restricted to designated outdoor concourse zones.
Professional cameras with detachable lenses longer than 200 mm, drones, monopods and selfie sticks are prohibited. Mobile phones, GoPro-style action cameras and standard compact cameras are permitted.
Banners larger than 2 × 1.5 metres, flagpoles, megaphones, laser pointers, flares and any item that can be used as a weapon are confiscated and may result in entry refusal. Political, commercial and discriminatory messages are removed under UEFA Article 16.
