St James' Park

Newcastle, England · Capacity: 52,338

Newcastle United's historic hilltop stadium in north-east England.

St James' Park has been the home of Newcastle United since 1892 and is the oldest and largest football stadium in north-east England. The ground sits on a hill overlooking Newcastle city centre, giving it some of the most distinctive matchday surroundings in English football. The asymmetric stands — with the Milburn and Leazes ends towering far higher than the East and Gallowgate sides — reflect planning constraints from the surrounding listed buildings. EURO 2028 will be the biggest international tournament hosted in Newcastle since EURO 96 and will likely include three group-stage matches plus a round-of-16 tie.
